From personnel requests to joint projects: forum participants - about the interaction between universities and business
One of the key topics of the first day of the III Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum was the interaction of universities with the real sector of the economy. Participants discussed how to link training and scientific development with the specific objectives of enterprises and industries.

Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund Artem Novikov noted the need to reduce the gap between education and the needs of the economy.

«Capital can be found, and the issue of staffing enterprises is extremely important and relevant. We need to move on to practical results. It is necessary to provide the opportunity to implement pilot projects for universities, more opportunities to manage resources and commercialize developments. Both financial institutions and businesses will get involved here. For our part, we are ready to work, ready to finance and support such initiatives», noted Artem Novikov.

Konstantin Chuprin, Deputy General Director for Production of LLC «Alliance Altyn», spoke about what tasks the real sector can set for universities within the framework of such cooperation.

«The development of Russian-Kyrgyz educational programs is of interest from the point of view of training and development of professional personnel, as well as the exchange of practical knowledge and modern approaches in the field of mining production. Applied problems related to production efficiency, automation and digitalization of processes, industrial safety, environmental monitoring, geological and technological research and improvement of management approaches can be considered as potential study programs interactions», emphasized Konstantin Chuprin.

From the university community, this topic was continued by the rector of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, Mikhail Volkhonov. He drew attention to how interaction with the real sector changes the role of a modern university.

«Universities today act not just as educational centers, but as research and production clusters that transform the agro-industrial complex through solving the problems of import substitution and selection, digitalization, personnel shortages, climate adaptation and land reclamation. The integration of science and practice at the interstate level is actively developing through joint programs, networked scientific and educational laboratories and public educational and experimental stations», noted Mikhail Volkhonov.

The general emphasis voiced at the forum sites was the development of practical interaction between universities, business and development institutions to train in-demand personnel and implement joint applied projects.
