Distinguished themselves at the International Conference «State and Law in a Changing World»
April 30, Faculty of Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, together with the direction «Jurisprudence» of the International University in Central Asia and the Kyrgyz State Law University, an International Student Scientific and Practical Online Conference «State and Law in a Changing World» was held.
The event was attended by students and undergraduates of universities in Kyrgyzstan (KRSU, MUCA, KSUU, International University «Ala-Too»), Russia (National Research University «Higher School of Economics»), Tajikistan (Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University) and Uzbekistan (University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent State Law University).
Participants discussed current aspects and problematic legal issues, including those arising from the spread of COVID-19. Work at the conference was carried out within four sections, during which a teleconference was organized with the plenary session of the VIII International Student Scientific and Practical Conference «Current Issues of Jurisprudence», dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 25th anniversary of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University. Thus, participants in the two conferences were able to speak and discuss their scientific and practical research on one interactive platform.
One of the moderators of the forum was N. Tursunbaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of International and Constitutional Law KRSU.
As a result of the conference, our students took the following prizes: Marina Podgurskaya (1st degree diploma for report «Cooperation between the UN Children's Fund and the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of improving national legislation for the protection of children's rights), Camilla Kim (2nd degree diploma for communication «Cyber operations during armed conflicts»), Bayastan Zholomanov (II degree diploma for report on copyright protection in a pandemic») Eduard Elzar (2nd degree diploma for reporting «Cybercrime in the modern world»).
The participants expressed gratitude to the Council of Young Scientists and Students of the Faculty of Law, the Department of International and Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University for the organization and fruitful work of the scientific and practical online platform.
