«Pathological smart guys»: KRSU students took a nomination at the II All-Russian Student Olympiad in General Pathology

On March 19, the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of Samara State Medical University organized and held the II All-Russian Student Olympiad in General Pathology with international participation «Essence Seekers».

Over 30 Russian universities took part in the competition. Our Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University did not stand aside! Under the leadership of senior lecturer of the Department of Pathological Anatomy Ruslan Orozaliev, a team «Pathological Smart Men» took part in the Olympiad with the following composition: Islam Tazhimatov (LD 2-18), Malik Abdulbakieva (LD 4-18), Rafiz Hasanov (LD 10-19) and Adelia Vasilenko (LD 11-19).

The Olympiad consisted of 6 competitions:

• Homework.
• Approval competition.
• Eponym competition.
• Situational task.
• Competition «Pathology in the visual arts».
• Competition «Pathology in faces».

According to the results of the competition, the KRSU team entered the top four and won in the «Speed of Clinical Thinking» category, proving a high level of practical use of accumulated knowledge.
