Transfer, recovery and transition to a budget in KRSU: what do you need to know?
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University reminds of the procedure for transfer from other universities, restoration after expulsion and transition from paid education to budget places at the expense of the Russian Federation.
📍 Transfer from another university
<TAG1> Acceptance of documents - during August for the autumn semester and during January for the spring semester.
For transfer, vacancies in the relevant course are required. The academic difference between the curricula must not exceed 30 credits and must be eliminated within one academic year.
📍 Recovery in KRSU
<TAG1>Recovery is possible after the end of the semester, provided there are available places in the relevant course. The decision is made by the certification commission taking into account the student’s academic history and academic differences.
Please note:
📍 Switch from paid to budget-funded education
KRSU students can apply for the transition from paid education to budget places at the expense of the Russian Federation. This transition is carried out twice a year - after completion of the interim certification.
Basic conditions:
In particular, students who have passed the exams in the last two semesters with «excellent» or «excellent» and «good» have the right to have their application considered. There are also separate categories of students in need of social support: orphans and children left without parental care, women who gave birth to a child during training, students who lost a parent during training, and other categories specified in the regulations.
When considering applications, established priorities and the number of available budget places are taken into account. On an equal footing, the student with the higher average score for the last two semesters gets the advantage.
The decision is made by a special university commission. Information about vacant budget places and application deadlines is published on the official website of KRSU. Specific deadlines are set by order of the university.
