A fruitful trip
From a very interesting and useful scientific voyage, a delegation of our scientists returned to the university – head. Department of Epidemiology and Virology KRSU, Professor B. Orozbekova, Associate Professor E. Mainazarova and Senior Lecturer Z. Kadyralieva. The first stage of their business trip was participation in the VIII Congress of the Euro-Asian Society on Infectious Diseases, which was held on May 17-19 in St. Petersburg.
The Congress has opened welcoming words from RAS Academicians V. Pokrovsky and Yu. Lobzin. Then there was a plenary session, 19 thematic symposiums and a round table.
At work activities teachers, practicing doctors and young scientists from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Austria, Spain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova took part, who brought not only their reports, but also a great desire to share their own experience and advanced technologies, incl. in the field fighting coronavirus infection.
Our representatives had the opportunity to listen to reports and ask questions to colleagues from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Tomsk, Vladivostok and other cities of Russia, as well as scientists from Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
In addition, the professor B. Orozbekova drew up memorandums about cooperation between our university and St. Petersburg Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after. Louis Pasteur, as well as The first St. Petersburg State Medical University named after. AND. Pavlova.
Negotiations took place on further scientific contacts with Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Totolyan.
After days spent on the banks of the Neva, our small but active delegation moved to Moscow to join the VIII Interdepartmental Scientific and Practical Conference «Infectious Diseases – Current Problems, Treatment and Prevention».
The purpose of the conference was to discuss the best management practices for organizing health care systems and preventing the spread of various infections, and most importantly – the features of diagnosis and treatment of Covid-19.
At the opening, the Deputy Head of the Main Medical Directorate of the Administration of the Russian Federation – Chief State Sanitary Doctor for Facilities of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation F. Morgunov made a welcoming speech.
During the Plenary session, presentations were made by leading industry experts – academicians, corresponding members, professors V. Akimkin, N. Briko, K. Zhdanov, V. Pokrovsky, N. Yushchuk, E. Klimova and others.
Further work continued in 11 thematic sections, where about 90 reports were made on the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, laboratory and clinical diagnostics, improving the quality of medical care for patients with viral hepatitis, HIV infection, meningococcal infection, influenza and ARVI.
About 600 specialists from 72 regions of Russia took part in the conference. The exhibition exposition, which presented modern technologies, diagnostic and medicinal drugs, laboratory equipment and equipment for anti-epidemic and preventive measures, aroused great interest.
At the end of the conference, professor KRSU B. Orozbekova put forward the idea of conducting scientific and practical work related to diagnosis and treatment Covid-19.
Further, the above conference was continued as the Volga Exercises, held from May 21 to May 23, 2022 in Samara.
The relevance of the latter was the cooperation of possible options for the development of global health systems after the end of the pandemic, the peculiarities of vaccination in a pandemic and other aspects of organizing health systems and preventing the spread of various infections.
Professor KRSU B. Orozbekova drew up memorandums about cooperation KRSU with Samara and Kazansky state medical universities.
And the final destination was Yekaterinburg, where the 2nd International Conference took place «Doctor – Patient – Society: Immunology and Genetics 2022».
Our immunologists-epidemiologists have been associated with colleagues from this city, especially with the chairman of the Russian Immunological Society, Academician V. Chereshnev, for several years of close fruitful cooperation, 6 jointly held scientific schools and conferences, and most importantly – interesting ideas for the future.
This time On May 25, 2022, the Institute of Immunology and Physiology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences held another conference dedicated to clinical immunology and genetics.
The first thing I would like to note – is the good organization of this event. All participants were given commemorative sets, which included: a package of official materials (electronic collection of articles and lectures, program, badge, participant certificate).
At the grand opening of the school-conference, welcoming words were heard from Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V. Chereshnev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yu. Lobzin and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Simbirtsev, Vice-President of the Russian Scientific Society of Immunologists I. Kozlov, speech by the director of the Institute of Immunology and Physiology, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor O. Solovyov.
Teachers, practicing doctors and young scientists from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Spain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Moldova took part in the international conference.
From our university with a report on the topic «Epidemiological situation Covid-19 in the Kyrgyz Republic», Professor B. Orozbekova spoke.
Overall, the conference reached the following conclusions:
• it is necessary to continue the practice of such meetings with the participation of young people on current topics developed in the Russian Scientific Society of Immunologists;
• involve doctors of narrow specialties more actively in the discussion of these topics;
• within the framework of such conferences, hold competitions for young doctors.
Our delegation voiced the idea of joint scientific and practical work with Ural colleagues, which was supported by the President of the Russian Scientific Research Institute, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V. Chereshnev and the scientific director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «State. Research Institute of OCHB» FMBA of Russia, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Simbirtsev.
A research project has been prepared with Professor I. Tuzankina (Ekaterinburg) for the diagnosis and treatment of immune-related diseases based on KRSU.
So the trip of representatives of the university department of epidemiology and immunology turned out to be very fruitful and useful in terms of exchanging experience in scientific work and prospects for further international cooperation.
