The winners of the IT Olympiad will become KRSU students

On May 14, the final stage of the Olympiad in programming for schoolchildren – IT-Kyrgyzstan Cup – 2022 was held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Its finalists had the opportunity to meet representatives of large IT companies in Kyrgyzstan and learn from them about the prospects for career growth in the IT field, and the winners received awards.
The organizers of the Olympiad, which started on March 29, were KRSU, the Kyrgyz Association of Software and Service Developers, the Kyrgyz Association of Informatics together with Kanda CA and TimelySoft LLC.
350 students from secondary educational institutions of the republic took part in intellectual competitions. 48 schoolchildren reached the finals of the Olympiad: 20 – in the Junior division (grades 6-8), 28 – in the Senior division (grades 9-11).
The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were awarded valuable prizes and diplomas that will help them when entering universities in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, four schoolchildren who have won 1st degree diplomas will become students of a budget-funded form of education KRSU by specialty «Software engineering».
