After the collapse of the USSR: economists discussed the results of the development of the former Soviet republics

On December 21, the Department of World Economy KRSU held a student conference «30 years without the USSR», dedicated to a remarkable date – 30 years ago the decision was made to dissolve the USSR and new independent states appeared on the political map of the world, which have been independently carrying out economic reforms for 30 years now.

The event was attended by students of KRSU and BSU named after. K. Karasaeva.

Welcoming the conference participants, the head of the Department of World Economy, N. Attokurova, gave a brief overview of the state of the USSR economy on the eve of the collapse.

Students examined the results of the independent development of the former Soviet republics, as well as the problems faced by their national economies. The reports were accompanied by interesting presentations and videos.

All conference participants received commemorative certificates.
