«Listen!»: the premiere of a concert-performance dedicated to the work of V. Mayakovsky took place in Bishkek

On July 19, in honor of the 130th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Mayakovsky, a youth theater-studio «GALA» with the participation of the Youth Center for Culture and Creativity of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. B. Yeltsin, under the direction of Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Galina Ketova, presented a concert-performance to the public «Listen!» based on the early work of the famous poet.

The cultural event took place at the Russian House in Bishkek.

The youth involved in the production once again proved that the poems of Vladimir Mayakovsky do not lose relevance today.

«Mayakovsky even asks the right questions in his children's poems, – Galina Ketova noted. – Times are changing, but the question of what is good and what is bad was and remains relevant. And if we had thought about this since childhood, our world would have been much kinder and brighter».
