Professional view: doctors KRSU about their trip to the All-Russian Congress on Dermoscopy and Optical Diagnostics of the Skin
Representatives of KRSU – associate professor of the Department of Dermatovenereology and Phthisiology Alidzhon Baltabaev, student of the specialty «General Medicine» Valeria Salimzyanova – took part in the All-Russian Congress on Dermatoscopy and Optical Diagnostics of the Skin.

– Trip to congress held on April 26, 2022 in Moscow it became another immersion in modern dermatology and an opportunity to study new diagnostic capabilities in medicine.
The work of the congress included the most interesting reports from the speakers, an exciting discussion of rare and complex clinical cases from the practice of experts, intriguing questions about knowledge of dermatoscopy, coupled with a modern exhibition of Russian-made medical equipment.
The Congress program included 3 breakout sessions, a master class and the presentation of a prize «Golden Dermatoscope» for contributions to the development of dermatoscopy. The latest achievements in the field of diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant skin tumors, research on melanoma, and master classes on non-invasive diagnostic methods were discussed.
We were presented with a rich scientific program, interesting dialogues of experts on optical skin diagnostics – «Timely skin cancer surgery» (M. Tarba), «Complex cases of surgical treatment of skin tumours» (D. Kushkin), «Drug therapy for metastatic skin melanoma» (I. Sinelnikov), «How easy it is to read dermoscopy of dermatoses: subtleties of work» (D. Luchinina), «Trichoscopy in the differential diagnosis of psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis» (T. Silyuk), and many others. The discussions were lively, experts asked questions from the audience, and all attention was focused on modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of skin tumors.
Despite the intensity of the program, the congress was held in one breath. I received a huge amount of new valuable information, felt a complete immersion in conversations about optical skin diagnostics and treatment methods, where science and practice were intertwined into a single whole. The organization of the event was at the highest level thanks to the efforts of the Chairman of the Board of the Society of Dermatoscopy and Optical Diagnostics of Skin, Yuri Sergeev, and his friendly team.
However, it was not only Congress that greeted us with warmth and care. The weather in Moscow turned out to be warm and welcoming in the spring. Moscow – a multimillion-dollar city that combines the originality and richness of the culture of the Russian people and modern Western trends of progress and innovation. The majestic skyscrapers of Moscow City coexist with gold paintings of monasteries, Red Square paved with paving stones, and gigantic areas of the metropolis, permeated with the underground web of the Moscow metro. This is a city of incredible dynamics and size, breathing the culture of different peoples and colors, which cannot be embraced in one trip! Beautiful views, a boost of energy and a wealth of new knowledge will undoubtedly become an incentive to return for new experiences!
