A professor from the University of Sydney shared her experience with doctors from the Kyrgyz Republic

The end of March was marked for the Faculty of Medicine by an intensive exchange of knowledge with foreign colleagues.

Thus, the Department of Family Medicine KRSU, together with the Clinic of Family Medicine «Eldik», held a training seminar «Scientific Search Methodology» during which a visiting lecturer – Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health at the University of Sydney (Australia) Patrina Ha Yuen Caldwell gave lectures on the methodology of scientific research and shared personal practical experience in conducting scientific research.

As part of the seminar program, lectures were given: «Main stages of research, various types of research methodology», «How to read and understand a research article? Is it reliable, useful and relevant to your clinical situation?». Two practical master classes were also held.

The seminar turned out to be of interest not only to young scientists, students and clinical residents actively involved in research work, but also to all specialists interested in issues in their professional field.
