The rector of KRSU discussed with the management «RusHydro» the prospects for cooperation in the field of hydropower
During the Eastern Economic Forum, the rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov met with the director of personnel management of PJSC «RusHydro» Alexey Tkachev.
During the conversation, the parties discussed promising areas of interaction in the field of hydropower and hydroelectric power plant design. Sergei Volkov emphasized the importance of joint initiatives in the field of electrical engineering, as well as the rational use and protection of water resources.
A separate block discussed the possibilities of the company's participation in the educational process of KRSU. Proposals were considered for lectures by experts «RusHydro» on industry development and corporate standards, support for students in choosing coursework and thesis topics, as well as the inclusion of company representatives in state examination commissions and their participation in scientific and practical conferences.
Particular attention was paid to organizing internships for KRSU students in the divisions of the production activities block «RusHydro». Such experience will allow future energy workers to acquire practical skills and immerse themselves deeper into the profession.
The discussion was an important step towards developing possible formats of cooperation between KRSU and «RusHydro» in training qualified specialists for the energy industry.
