The rector of KRSU took part in a meeting of the leadership of the Supreme Court with university rectors

Rector of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University Sergei Volkov took part in a working meeting of the leadership of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic with the rectors of higher educational institutions of the country. The event focused on promoting institutional cooperation between the judiciary and universities, as well as improving the practical training of students.The discussion centers on — expanding educational, industrial and pre-graduate practice programs in the courts, the participation of representatives of the judiciary in the educational process, the formation of a stable personnel reserve for the legal system and improving the quality of training of future lawyers.In his speech, Sergei Volkov emphasized the importance of integrating theoretical education with real judicial practice. According to him, this model allows students to better understand the mechanisms of law enforcement and quickly adapt to professional activities.In 2026, KRSU already sent eight law students to the Supreme Court for practical training. The university is consistently developing cooperation with the judicial authorities of the republic, implementing joint educational, scientific and practical initiatives.Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to expand partnerships and conclude agreements aimed at training qualified specialists for the judicial and civil service.Photo: press service of the Supreme Court
