RKFR and KRSU are expanding strategic cooperation

As part of the development program presented at a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a decision was made to expand the partnership with the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RCDF). The set of measures is aimed at modernizing the university’s infrastructure, supporting student initiatives and creating a sustainable educational environment.One of the key study programs was the consideration of the possibility of acquiring a real estate property of the RKFR to house the Faculty of Medicine with the subsequent transfer of the building to the university. The implementation of the project will expand the training area, strengthen the material and technical base and increase enrollment in medical areas of training.Among the priorities is the launch of a venture investment mechanism for student startups. The RKFR is considering the possibility of supporting promising projects of students at various stages — from developing an idea to entering the market. It is planned to form a support model focused on applied development and commercialization of innovations.A separate area concerns the development of campus infrastructure. The Foundation's participation in the construction and subsequent operation of dormitories for students and teachers on the territory of the future KRSU campus is being worked out. Possible formats of interaction — concession or provision of a preferential targeted loan. The project is focused on creating modern living conditions and strengthening academic mobility.A phased renovation of the educational and health complex «Zhashtyk» is also planned. The update involves bringing the facility into compliance with modern standards of educational and recreational infrastructure.The presented program reflects a course towards long-term partnership focused on the development of educational, scientific and infrastructure projects that help improve the quality of training of specialists and strengthen the socio-economic potential of the region.
