Born to win: KRSU doctors won gold at the II International Online Anatomy Olympiad
On April 15, the II International Online Anatomy Olympiad took place. The competition, in which 12 largest universities in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took part, was held within the framework of the International Anatomical Student Forum (Novosibirsk).
The KRSU «Natus Vincere» team (Kamila Boobekova, Firuza Israilova, Bogdan Ryazantsev, Islam Tazhimatov and Anastasia Tankova) performed at the Olympiad under the guidance of Anvar Beisembayev, associate professor of the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operational Surgery.
«Natus Vincere» translates to «Born to Win». The team received this name for a reason –according to established tradition, KRSU medical students achieve high results in competitions and olympiads not only at their home university, but also at the international level. The Anatomy Olympiad held in Novosibirsk was no exception – according to its results, our doctors took 1st place in their section!

–The starting point of the Anatomy Olympiad was a round table, the participants of which discussed the latest methods of teaching students in the subject «Human Anatomy».
The tasks at the Olympiad were difficult, because the strongest universities took part in the competition. Thanks to our extensive experience in participating in major competitions, our team was among the leading teams at each stage, eventually winning 1st place.
We are not going to stop there On May 11, 2022, our team will go to «the cultural capital of Russia» to demonstrate their knowledge at the Olympiad, which is organized by the First St. Petersburg State Medical University. IP. Pavlova.
