With an oriental flavor: a lecture by the poet Mikhail Sinelnikov was held at KRSU
On September 11, in the conference hall of the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, a guest lecture by a famous Russian was held for teachers of the Department of History and Theory of Literature, the Department of Russian Language and 1st-2nd year philology students poet, translator, literary critic, literary historian Mikhail Sinelnikov, dedicated to the theme of the East in Russian literature.
The event took place as part of the festival «Kyrgyzstan-Russia: common cultural heritage».
During the lecture, the participants immersed themselves in the oriental flavor inherent in the works of Russian literature and got acquainted with the work of the lecturer himself, who has close ties with Kyrgyzstan.
– In educational terms, M. Sinelnikov conducted an interesting discourse on the interaction of Russian and Eastern literature, which philology students undergo during their studies. The lecture turned out to be useful from an educational and aesthetic point of view – the participants listened to poems beautifully performed by the eminent poet. Impressions from Mikhail Isaakovich’s speech were extremely positive; students actively participated in the discussion of the stated topic," noted the head of the department of history and literary theory of KRSU, Professor Bakhtiyar Koichuev.
The literary baton was taken over by 3-4 year philologists KRSU. In the afternoon they will take part in M. Sinelnikov’s creative evening, which will be held at the Russian House.
