Collaborating with SFU

On May 25, a meeting was held between the delegation of the Siberian Federal University and its career guidance center located in Kyrgyzstan with the leadership of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.

The discussion was attended by the rector of KRSU, academician V. Nifadiev, vice-rectors V. Lelevkin and L. Sydykova, dean of the FMO S. Usmanov and head of the UMS Yu. Kalyuzhnaya, the SFU delegation included: Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of SFU D. Guts, Head of the Department of International Cooperation SFU A. Mezit, Director of the SFU Career Guidance Center in the Kyrgyz Republic Zh. Usupbaev, Head of the Association of SFU Alumni in the Kyrgyz Republic A. Sharshebaev.

SFU is one of the leading universities in Russia, with 26 thousand students (including 150 students from Kyrgyzstan). Cooperation between our universities is developing on the basis of an agreement signed in 2013.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of current cooperation and outlined tasks to enhance scientific interaction and academic exchange of students and teachers. Particular importance was paid to the Russian Club, the creation of which will contribute to the expansion of educational and cultural interactions between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
