Creator of the Kyrgyz land
On December 10, a presentation of the documentary-biographical monograph by L.I. took place online at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. Sumarokova and O.L. Sumarokova «K.K. Yudakhin. Uniting Central Asia with a word». Scientists from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the event.
The presented scientific work, published by the KRSU Publishing House, reveals the multifaceted activities of the Soviet Turkologist, lexicographer, expert on living Turkic languages and ancient Turkic writing Konstantin Kuzmich Yudakhin.
The rector of KRSU, academician V.I. took part in the discussion of the book. Nifadiev, rector of the State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkina, professor M.N. Rusetskaya, scientific director of the Educational and Scientific Center for Typology and Semiotics of Folklore of the Russian State University for the Humanities, chief researcher at the Laboratory of Theoretical Folkloristics of the School of Contemporary Humanitarian Research of the Institute of National Economy and Public Administration, Professor S.Yu. Neklyudov, professor, People's Poet of Kyrgyzstan V.I. Shapovalov, director of the Russian Language Institute KRSU, Professor M.D. Tagaev, curator of educational programs and promotion of the Russian language, Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo I.G. Tsareva.
As Professor Sergei Neklyudov noted, the Kyrgyz people should be grateful that 130 years ago an outstanding scientist was born in Russia, who made a huge contribution to the development of current problems of Kyrgyz linguistics, literary criticism and history, which created the Kyrgyz-Russian and Russian-Kyrgyz dictionaries – a set of lexical richness of the modern Kyrgyz language.
His descendants – Tatyana Yudakhina – architect, teacher, author of English textbooks, and Olga Yudakhina – composer, artistic director of the Children's Musical Theater «Domisolka» (Moscow) spoke about the life and work of the great scientist. The presentation participants especially emphasized that the Yudakhin family is the personification of Russian people who created on Kyrgyz soil.
The new edition is based on documentary material, many of which have been published for the first time, and is aimed at a wide range of readers. The monograph is part of the book series «Eurasian Creators», start of which were published by documentary-biographical monographs by L.I. Sumarokova and O.L. Sumarokova «Chingiz Aitmatov – Man-Universe» and «Eurasian Chronicles N.M. Przhevalsky».
