Today, on the basis of the educational and health complex «Zhashtyk», a sports session of the student camp «Territory of Change» began, organized for student-athletes of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. More than ten students representing various sports fields who actively participate in the life of the university participate in the race.
The shift will last several days and will become not only an opportunity for recuperation and active recreation, but also an important stage in strategic planning. The program includes training, team activities, as well as work on creating a plan of sporting events for the upcoming academic year. In addition, the shift participants will develop a strategy for the development of sports and physical culture in KRSU for 2025–2026.
According to the organizers, the key task of the shift is to unite active students interested in developing the university’s sports environment and lay the foundation for new initiatives, intra-university competitions and strengthening the sports traditions of KRSU.
«Our goal — is not just to prepare a calendar of events, but to build a systematic approach to the development of student sports. We want sports at the university to become more accessible, diverse and interesting for every student. That is why it is important to hear proposals from the participants of the student sports community themselves», — commented the sports club KRSU.
Shift «Territory of Change» — is part of a large-scale university program to develop student government, leadership and project activity. During the summer, various shifts, including educational, media and environmental, take place at the camp «Zhashtyk». Each of them is aimed at forming proactive, responsible and active youth capable of setting the vector of development not only of the university environment, but also of society as a whole.
