KRSU student Zhanayim Dairova took 2nd place in the competition «Claris Verbis – 2021»
The active participation of students in international language competitions has become a good tradition at the Department of Foreign Languages KRSU. At the end of January, economics student Zhanayim Dairova received the long-awaited diploma for 2nd place in the competition «Claris Verbis – 2021».
18 November 2021 students 5 faculties KRSU (economics, natural sciences, medicine, law and the Faculty of International Relations) took part in the International Festival-Competition of Translation «Claris Verbis – 2021» dedicated «to the Year of Science and Technology», organized by the Department of English Language and Intercultural Communication of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Linguodidactics of Saratov State University.
The popular competition brought together over 230 participants from different universities in the CIS countries. The competition jury included teachers from universities in Saratov and Moscow.
Our students chose three categories: «Translation of a poem from English into Russian», «Abstract translation of a text from English into Russian» and «Compilation of an abstract in English».
The performance of 2nd year student Zhanayim Dairova can be considered a huge success –in the nomination «Translation of a poem from English into Russian» among 38 participants, she took 2nd place.
Other KRSU students received commemorative electronic certificates.
