KRSU students are exploring new horizons at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University

Students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU), studying under the exchange program at the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, are completely immersed in the academic and cultural life of one of the largest technical universities in Russia. Their stay in the northern capital — is not only an opportunity to study new disciplines, but also a chance to adopt the best educational practices and gain experience in international interaction.

Future engineers and architects study disciplines in the areas of construction, technosphere safety and architectural design. For example, in the course «Refined concrete structures», students master methods for designing complex construction projects, and in the classes on «Automated calculation of building structures» they use modern programs to simulate the stability of buildings.

Particular attention is paid to technosphere safety, where children analyze man-made risks and develop models of protection against emergency situations. And design students are actively involved in the design of architectural solutions and work to create modern public spaces.
