KRSU students held a holiday of Slavic writing and culture

An event dedicated to the Day of Slavic Literature and Culture, organized by students of the Department of Russian Philology, was held at the Faculty of Humanities of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.Participants and guests were presented with a video «Az Buki Vedi. Russian alphabet of Cyril and Methodius», presentation on Cyril and Methodius, works of Russian and Slavic classics, as well as speeches in Old Church Slavonic and Ukrainian.Particular attention of the audience was attracted by the video sketch «Dances of Slavic Peoples», «Song of Polovtsian Girls» from the opera by Alexander Borodin «Prince Igor» and interviews with KRSU students dedicated to associations with the words «Slavic» and «Slavic University».Participants in the literary and musical program were students of all courses who presented creative performances dedicated to the history of Slavic writing and the cultural heritage of the Slavic peoples.
