KRSU students attended a lecture from the leading economist of the Kyrgyz Republic

On March 11, an online guest lecture for students on the course «International Economic Organizations» was held at the department «World Economy» KRSU. The representative of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Asian Development Bank in 2019-2020, Aziz Aaliev, spoke as a guest lecturer.

A. Aaliev is one of the leading economists in Kyrgyzstan, with extensive professional experience in government agencies –Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy (Deputy Minister from 2007 to 2014) and projects of international organizations (ADB, FAO, CAREC). In 2020, he headed the Kyrgyz-Russian Development Fund. Currently engaged in the implementation of his own investment projects.

The lecture was attended by students from various faculties of the university, as well as teachers and students of BSU. Participants learned about the work of the ADB, its structure, people working in the organization and on projects carried out by the ADB in Kyrgyzstan and abroad. A. Aaliev also shared practical recommendations for those who would like to build their careers in international organizations.
