Medical students KRSU discussed current issues of pathophysiology in dentistry
On December 26, a student scientific conference was held at the Department of Pathological Physiology of the Faculty of Medicine KRSU «Current issues of pathophysiology in dentistry», dedicated to the upcoming 30th anniversary of the university. 40 students took part in it 3 courses of specialty «Dentistry».
The event was moderated by Associate Professor Ch. Ubashev, Professor B. Kakeev, Associate Professor I. were present. Abdumalikova.
7 reports were heard: «Pathogenesis of changes in oral tissues in leukemia» (Leila Gulbuddin), «Role of chronic hypoxia in the pathogenesis of the development of inflammatory and dystrophic changes in periodontal tissues» (Olga Zhuravleva), «Role of proline and tyrosine-enriched proteins on the development of tartar» (Islam Ismailbekov), «Effect of chronic stress on periodontal tissues» (Anastasia Kiseleva), «Mechanism of caries development in iron deficiency anemia» (Zamira Yunusova), «Pathogenesis of changes in periodontal tissues in diabetes mellitus» (Diana Dmitrieva), «Role of the immune system in the development of caries» (Rufat Alimov).
All the messages aroused keen interest, leading to a useful discussion. The information presented in the reports was clearly structured and clearly displayed in the form of pathogenesis diagrams and drawings. Students were well versed in the given topics and actively used Internet resources and modern multimedia.
All participants were presented with letters of gratitude from the department staff.
