Students explained how important immune prevention is for all age groups of the population
The Department of Infectious Diseases named after Professor A. Romanenko (KRSU) hosted a traditional educational and practical student conference «Immunoprophylaxis of Infectious Diseases».
The event was attended by 5th year students of the specialty «General Medicine» (speakers), as well as infectious disease residents, graduate students of the Department of Infectious Diseases and teachers.
Students prepared 16 reports in the form of presentations, videos, and infographics. In their speeches, the guys tried to show the importance of disease prevention and told many interesting and little-known facts about the creators of vaccines and about the vaccines themselves. The guys approached the work on the reports creatively, with humor, and even conducted a sociological survey among Bishkek residents about awareness of vaccine prevention. All reports emphasized that a modern immunoprophylaxis system is a decisive factor in reducing child mortality, increasing life expectancy and improving the quality of life of all age groups of the population.
At the end of the conference, the best speakers were awarded diplomas (a 1st degree diploma was received by students Tatyna Oskonbaeva and Elvira Evliyaeva for a report on the prevention of diphtheria; a 2nd degree diploma was awarded to Arina Kogadei for a video on the prevention of whooping cough; Eleonora Zhuraeva and Saikal Samoganova received a 3rd degree diploma for a video on meningococcal infection). Certificates in the nominations were awarded to: «Master of Oratory» (Mariam Ganieva and Gauhar Dzhamakeeva ), «For visibility» (Saida Zakirova and Dilmurat Sabirov ), «For creativity» (Kamila Bayramova and Aizirek Kanzharbekova), «For information content» (Abylaikhan Kola and Bekbolsun Razykulov), «For a professional approach» (Islam Tazhimatov ).
The jury included young scientists from the department – A. Kanatbekova, V. Hangkessa, T. Yunusov, as well as associate professors of the department – N. Aitkuluev, D. Kuvatova and head. Department of Infectious Diseases E. Radchenko.
