Forensic doctors and pathologists from Russia and Kyrgyzstan are strengthening friendly ties

KRSU continues to fruitfully cooperate with forensic doctors and pathanatoms in Russia On October 1 in Ryazan, the head of the Department of Forensic Medicine of KRSU Nurlan Ismailov took part in the First Scientific and Practical Conference of the Interregional Thanatoradiological Society «Prospects for interdisciplinary interaction for the development of pathological anatomy and forensic medicine». It took place on the banks of the beautiful Oka River.

The event was dedicated to the memory of a high-class professional, a worthy citizen, a bright person and one of the founders of MTO – Nikolai Mikhailovich Krupnov.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Ryazan Region represented by the State Budgetary Institution «Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination named after D.I. Mastbaum» and the Interregional Public Organization «MTO», as well as the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation «Ryazan State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlova». It is worth noting that the listed organizations have been closely cooperating with the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University for many years. Welcoming the conference participants, Associate Professor Nurlan Ismailov, on behalf of the rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, presented letters of gratitude to the heads of friendly institutions.

More than 60 scientists and practitioners from the Russian Federation took part in the conference. Interesting reports were heard from outstanding scientists – professors Lev Kaktursky, Oleg Zairatyants, Fedor Zabolaev, Alexander Shchegolev, Andrey Kovalev, Vladimir Klevno and many others. Participants discussed issues of interdisciplinary interaction between radiologists, pathologists and forensic experts.

A separate section was dedicated to the memory of the pathologist, scientific researcher Nikolai Mikhailovich Krupnov, who was one of the first in the difficult conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic to perform not only routine pathological and forensic research, but also became involved in research work on the study of COVID-19 and the pathological processes it causes. Two manuals prepared and published with his direct participation «Atlas of pathological anatomy of COVID-19» (Moscow, 2020) and «Atlas of pathological anatomy of the lungs in COVID-19» (Ryazan, 2020) at the very beginning of the pandemic made it possible to raise pathanatomical diagnosis to a new level COVID-19 in Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as change the concept of treatment of patients.
