Participation of KRSU master's students in an international conference on current issues of world politics

Master's students and applicants from the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University took part in an international scientific and practical conference «Current problems of international relations in the context of the transformation of the world order», held in an online format.The event was organized by the North Caucasus Federal University, including specialized divisions — Faculty of International Relations and Department of World Politics and Foreign Regional Studies. The conference brought together young researchers, graduate students and experts working in the field of international relations and world politics.As part of the scientific program, second-year applicant Dmitry Utkin presented a report «Digital transformation of the institutional structure of international relations: a synthesis of “network power” and “the power of algorithms”». The speech focused on the growing influence of technology corporations and digital platforms, as well as their role in transforming the mechanisms of political interaction at the global level.Second-year master's student Khajana Ulanbekova made a report on the political and economic influence of China in Central Asia within the framework of the «Silk Road Economic Belt» initiative. The study examined key tools for expanding its presence — infrastructure projects, investment policies and financial mechanisms that help strengthen the country's position in the region.Based on the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles by young scientists with subsequent indexation at the RSCI.
