Participation of KRSU scientists in the III International Linguistic and Cultural Forum at RUDN University
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia continue active and fruitful cooperation in the field of science and education.
A clear confirmation of the strategic alliance was the participation of our scientists in the large-scale III International Linguoculturological Forum «Linguoculturology in the system of modern communications: values, images, guidelines, trends and artificial intelligence», which was held from October 1 to October 3, 2026 in Moscow on the basis of the Institute Russian Language RUDN University named after. Patrice Lumumba. The event was held with the support of MAPRYAL and ROPRYAL within the framework of the authoritative scientific school of Professor V.V. Vorobyov.
The forum confirmed its high international status by bringing together scientists from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, India, Brazil, the USA and other countries. The event brought together researchers from more than 15 countries.
The Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was represented at the international forum by employees of the Higher School of Russian Language and Bilingual Education KRSU: scientific director of the school, Doctor of Philology, Professor Mamed Dzhakypovich Tagaev and head of the educational and scientific laboratory, Candidate of Philology Sciences, Associate Professor Upel Kerimbaevna Kadyrkulova. The reports of our researchers aroused keen interest among the foreign academic community.
The main vector of discussions this year was the rapid penetration of artificial intelligence and large language models into the field of language, text and education. Participants discussed a wide range of fundamental study programs: Active processes in modern languages in conditions of linguistic and cultural interference; Linguistic safety and psychology of information influence in the era of Web 2.0; The boundaries between living human speech and its machine imitation (simulacra of meaning); Linguodidactics and new approaches to teaching bilinguals.
In the final resolution adopted at the end of the forum, scientists emphasized that it is linguoculturology that today has the necessary tools to protect cultural identity and the value dimension of language in the context of digitalization. The scientific community has fixed the priority of further interdisciplinary research at the intersection of philology and AI.
The participation of KRSU representatives in such a significant international forum was another important step in the implementation of a long-term strategy of scientific and educational cooperation between KRSU and RUDN University, opening up new prospects for joint research and grant projects.
Based on the results of the forum, an electronic collection of scientific works will be published with indexation in the RSCI database. The next, IV International Forum, is scheduled for 2028.
