A member of the sports club KRSU became a bronze medalist at the Kyrgyz Republic Judo Cup

Isa Gordaev, a 1st year student at the ETF, took a prize in prestigious competitions among adult athletes dedicated to the celebrations in honor of the Great Victory, and received the honorary title of candidate master of sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.The tournament was held in Osh from 8 to 10 May 2026. The strongest athletes from all regions of the country took part in it. Judoists from Bishkek won 14 medals in different weight categories, including — bronze medal of the athlete KRSU.On the way to the podium, Isa had four difficult fights with the tournament favorites. He competed underweight of 4–5 kg, and his opponents were older, more experienced and had the titles of master of sports and candidate master of sports.The KRSU student entered the decisive battle for the bronze medal with back and knee injuries, but managed to win thanks to his character and perseverance.At the end of the competition, the athlete won a bronze medal and was awarded the title of candidate master of sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.Now Isa is actively preparing for the International Asian Judo Cup among athletes under 20 years old, which will be held in Tashkent.KRSU congratulates its athlete, is proud of his achievements and wishes him further victories!
