The Academic Council called for a radical restructuring of the work
On September 2, 2021, the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin reviewed the results of the 2020-2021 academic year and the main tasks in the 2021-2022 academic year. Rector of the university, academician V.I. Nifadiev in his speech noted the need for a radical restructuring of all study programs activities of the university. This task is relevant on the eve of the important date – 30th anniversary of its creation for KRSU. Therefore, it is especially important to ensure the ethics of behavior of the teaching staff, the quality of the educational process, the intensification of research work and the creation of conditions for students not only in obtaining professional education, but also the opportunity to realize their ideas and ideas, talents and abilities in various fields of social, creative and sports activities.
The rector noted that in the previous period the university had to work in non-standard conditions dictated by restrictive measures to prevent the spread of a new coronavirus infection. Nevertheless, the accumulated experience of working remotely should be generalized and widely used in the educational process. This is especially true for the possibility of expanding international contacts.
Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations L.I. Sumarokov noted in his speech that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation has begun a monthly rating of media activity of subordinate universities, which reflects the overall result of the university’s work in the field of science and education. The analysis shows that the university has the potential to improve performance. It lies in the areas of building systematic work planning, increasing the responsibility of teaching staff and stimulating them in educational, scientific and extracurricular work.
