KRSU discussed new challenges and threats to the global economy

On December 24, the Department of World Economy KRSU held an interuniversity online student conference on the topic: «COVID-19 pandemic: new challenges and threats to the global economy».

The event was attended by students and undergraduates of KRSU, BSU named after K. Karasaev, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, etc.

Chairman of the Association of Foreign Investors, member of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Kairat Itibaev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Then the speaker made a presentation on the topic: «Creative economy as a driver of development and circulation of minds in a pandemic».

The conference was conducted in two sections: «The impact of the pandemic on the development of the world economy and international economic relations» (moderator – Professor T. Koichumanov) and «Structural restructuring and challenges to innovative development in connection with the pandemic» (moderator – Associate Professor E. Taranova).

The best reports of students were noted at the end of the conference (B. Aitbaeva, N. Kubanychbekova, V. Omarova). All participants received personalized certificates.
