KRSU discusses the problems of information technology in mining

On September 7, the grand opening of the XV annual International Scientific and Practical Conference «Advanced Technologies in Mining» took place in Issyk-Kul.

The rector of KRSU, academician V. Nifadiev, director of IKIT KRSU V. Grigoriev and head of the KRSU UIiCO D. Kerimbaeva addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.

The event will last until September 10. Participants, including developers and suppliers of information systems and technologies for mining enterprises («Beeline-Russia», «Epirok – Central Asia»), representatives of mining enterprises in Russia (Polymetal Management Company, JSC «Seligdar Gold», Gorevsky GOK), Kazakhstan (Komarovskoye State Enterprise, SSGPO) and Kyrgyzstan (CJSC «Kumtor Gold Company»), as well as employees of KRSU will discuss modern information technologies in mining issues of managing the main technological processes in quarries and underground workings, the use of software and hardware to control drilling processes and much more.

This year the conference is dedicated to the memory of the honorary professor of KRSU, scientific director of the PTK «Blast Maker» development team V. Kovalenko.
