KRSU has opened a training laboratory on robotics and unmanned technologies together with the company «Geoscan»
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, during a meeting of the Board of Trustees, a training laboratory on robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles was opened. The project was implemented jointly with the company «Geoscan» with the participation of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The laboratory will become a platform for training new generation engineers, developing application solutions and implementing student technology projects in the field of unmanned aircraft systems and robotics. Robotics and unmanned technologies are already actively used in industry, agriculture, logistics, ecology and safety. Kyrgyzstan needs its own specialists capable of developing and implementing such solutions. The creation of the laboratory will allow the university to increase the pace of personnel training and form its own engineering school in these areas.Cooperation provides not only for equipping the educational space with modern equipment, but also for a comprehensive educational model. Students will have access to specialized equipment, laboratory facilities, software, and will also be able to undergo practical training and internships at the partner base.Laboratory workshops using unmanned systems, design work, engineering competitions, joint seminars and conferences will be integrated into the educational process. Expert and mentoring support from company specialists is provided, as well as support for technology initiatives and student startups.Special attention will be paid to the development of additional educational programs for the operation of unmanned systems, training of teachers and the formation of teams capable of solving real production problems. The creation of the laboratory expands the practice-oriented infrastructure of KRSU and allows the university to build continuous training of specialists for high-tech sectors of the economy. For students, this is an opportunity to work with real equipment already during their studies, gain engineering experience and form a professional portfolio before entering the labor market.
