KRSU will host lectures by a leading expert in the field of public health under the «Visiting Professor» program
On February 23–24, lectures by one of the leading experts in the field of public health will be held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University as part of the «Visiting Professor» program. The speaker's visit is organized taking into account an interdisciplinary approach and is aimed at a wide university audience.
The topics of the lectures are structured in such a way as to be relevant not only for the medical community, but also for representatives of other faculties. Particular emphasis is placed on the first day program, which will be of interest to students and teachers of economic study programs and the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Information Systems.
The discussion centers on — the economics of health, the influence of socio-economic factors on the state of the population, as well as issues of creating a health-saving environment in cities and educational spaces. These themes are at the intersection of medicine, economics, urbanism and social policy and reflect modern approaches to the development of public health.
On the second day of lectures, a more in-depth conversation is planned about the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases, risk factor management and modern tools for promoting health at the level of individuals, organizations and territories.
The lectures are designed for students, teachers and researchers of various study programs training and will become a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and discussion of practical solutions that are in demand in modern conditions.
The event takes place within the framework of the strategic goal of KRSU to develop interdisciplinary education and attract leading international and Russian experts to the university.
