A conference «Chinese language in the dialogue of cultures» was held at KRSU
On April 19, the Department of World Languages of the Federal Medical Institution KRSU, together with the Confucius Institute at the K. Karasaev BSU, held an international student scientific conference «Chinese language in the dialogue of cultures» dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The purpose of the event is to exchange the results of students’ scientific work; expansion of scientific and public relations between leading universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and the PRC.
The conference was attended by KRSU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S. Usmanov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of KRSU A. Kulikovsky, Director of the Confucius Institute at BSU from the Chinese side Ms. Du Hua, Director of the Confucius Institute at BSU from the Kyrgyz side G. Isamatova, Director of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Institute of KNU S. Apaeva, Chairman of the General Chamber of Commerce of Fujian Province in Central Asia Lin Jingdian (林金电), Chairman of the Board of the General Chamber of Commerce of Fujian Province in Central Asia, Huang Xiaorong (黄小榕), official representatives of the General Chamber of Commerce of Fujian Province in Central Asia, Chen Wenda and Zhuang Jinbu, students from the People's Republic of China, teachers and university students of Bishkek.
To evaluate the scientific works of young scientists, a competition commission was formed under the chairmanship of M. Jumaz, senior researcher at the Department of Sinology and Dungan Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The reports were presented in Russian, Kyrgyz and Chinese. Works that passed the test in the KRSU Anti-Plagiarism system were allowed to participate in the competition.
By decision of the jury, the prizes were distributed as follows:
3rd place <TAG1> Nurisa Beishekeeva and Baktybek kyzy Nargiza, KTU – Manas«, 2nd year (topic: » Phraseologisms as an object of reflection of Chinese and Kyrgyz culture«).
2nd place <TAG1> Kanyshay Abdieva, KKI KNU, 4th year (topic: – Methods of teaching the blind and visually impaired (based on Chinese)«)
1st place <TAG1> Daria Manova, KRSU, 3rd year (topic: – Use of neural networks in teaching Chinese: comparing effectiveness with traditional methods«).
Conference participants received certificates and certificates. Representatives of the General Chamber of Commerce of Fujian Province in Central Asia presented the winners with valuable prizes.
