The International Conference «Russian language in the digital space of the CIS» was held at KRSU

On November 3, the International took place in the conference hall of the main building of KRSU scientific and practical conference «Russian language in the digital space of the CIS», the participants of which were scientists, representatives of educational and public organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

The event was organized in Bishkek within the framework International Scientific Congress «Russian language in the CIS countries: position, functioning, communication», implemented State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin (Moscow, Russia), which took place in three stages: November 1 – in Moscow, November 2 – in Yerevan, 3 – in Bishkek.

The rector of KRSU, academician Vladimir Nifadiev, vice-rector for development and digitalization of education at the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin Dina Gorbatova, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Kyrgyzstan Albert Zulkharneev, education and science attaché of the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic Robert Fedorov, chairman of the National Attestation Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Tynaliev, professor of the Kyiv City State University named after. Zh. Balasagyna Nurlan Akhmetova.

A.S. Pushkin Elvira Akimova (report on the metamorphoses of self-presentation); Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin Andrey Shcherbakov (subject of the message – <TAG1>The language and style of modern Russian-language media«).

At the plenary session and in two sections – «Russian language in the CIS information space» and «Russian language in the CIS digital space» –, experts discussed the role of the Russian language in the information and digital spaces, ways to preserve and promote the Russian language in the Kyrgyz Republic.
