A traditional conference «Universal through National» was held at KRSU
27 April the annual XVI Interuniversity Student Scientific and Practical Conference «Universal through National» organized by the Department of Philosophy named after. Academician A. Kakeeva. This time the participants of the event were students of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin, KNU named after Zh. Balasagyn, BSU named after. K. Karasaev, KEU named after. M. Ryskulbekova.
Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Amangeldy Bekbalaev, in his welcoming speech to students, paid special attention to the topic of the conference «Universal through national». He recommended that young people read more correct and interesting books, in particular he recommended the book by Vsevolod Ovchinnikov «Sakura and Oak», which clearly shows the intersection of the universal and the national in culture: on the one hand, the original world of Japanese and English national cultures, and on the other – their common features.
The head of the Department of Philosophy, Professor Nurgul Osmonova, emphasized the practical significance of participation in conferences and noted that the results of this conference will be published in the annual department collection of articles «Universal and National in Philosophy».
In addition, Professor N. Osmonova announced the results of the annual competition of student scientific works among students and undergraduates of the Department of Philosophy. This year, the winners of the competition were 3rd year student Alexander Korotenko (nomination «Best scientific article») and 2nd year student Anzhelika Ivanskaya (nomination «Best sociological research»). The winners were awarded diplomas and gift certificates to a bookstore «Rarity».
Three reports were heard at the plenary session. The report by Angelika Ivanskaya «To be or not to be in the context of a modern understanding of the future» aroused great interest. Then the work of the conference was divided into two sections, at which another 22 reports were heard.
The conference moderators noted the high level of preparation of students and the interest of young people in current problems of philosophy. Particularly noteworthy are the reports of the following students, which aroused keen interest and heated discussion: report «Postmodernism and personality formation at the present stage» (2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine KRSU Ekaterina Dmitrienko), message «New Marxist movement in the era of modern capitalism» (2nd year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology KRSU Vladislav Magai), report «Islam and national identity of the Kyrgyz» (2nd year student of KNU named after. Zh. Balasagyna Eleonora Stempkovskaya), message «Modern humanitarian thought about nationalism» (1st year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology KRSU Muhammad Musaev).
The conference ended with the ceremonial presentation of certificates and gratitude from the participants for the high level of organization of the event, the opportunity to exchange opinions, the scientific and creative atmosphere, as well as for positive emotions!
