A meeting of first-year students with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic was held at KRSU: about security and legal awareness
Information and preventive meetings of first-year students of the economics and medical faculties with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic were held at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The purpose of the event is — to increase the legal literacy of students, prevent offenses and create a responsible attitude towards the law. Such an initiative aims to strengthen legal security in the university environment and create a culture of respect for the rule of law.
During the meetings, Interior Ministry officials spoke about the most common risks faced by young people: cyber fraud, street incidents and domestic crimes. Particular emphasis was placed on the dangers of using and distributing narcotic drugs, including through offers under the guise of «part-time work».
Students were explained how to recognize dubious offers and where to go in case of threats or attempts to engage in illegal activities. Security experts shared recommendations on personal safety and protection of themselves and loved ones, and also discussed issues of preventing violence and strengthening public safety.
KRSU expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for its active participation in the formation of legal culture and support of initiatives that contribute to crime prevention and the creation of a safe educational environment for students.
