A meeting was held at KRSU with representatives of the public of Kyrgyzstan
On July 6, a meeting of acting Rector German Lotsev with representatives of organizations of Russian compatriots of Kyrgyzstan took place at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
The main topic of discussion was the development of interaction between the university in connection with the admissions campaign and preparations for the 30th anniversary of the creation of KRSU. The parties exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation related to the preservation of historical memory as an important task of modern society, the promotion of the Russian language on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, and the development of educational, scientific and cultural activities of the university.
Rector German Lotsev told guests about KRSU’s work plans for the near future and the innovations that await students in the 2023-2024 academic year. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Salavat Usmanov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Leila Sydykova, Vice-Rector for Information and Public Relations Leonid Sumarokov presented to the meeting participants the results of the university’s activities in the areas they supervise.
The discussion of the agenda was attended by the education attaché of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan Robert Fedorov, the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic Albert Zulkharneev, and the curator of projects to promote the Russian language and Russian education of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office Irina Tsareva.
Constructive proposals to increase the level of attractiveness of the university for applicants, popularize its achievements in science and education, and reveal the creative potential of students were expressed by Olga Frolova, head of the KSORS and the Public Foundation «Moscow Classics», head of the society «Leningrad Siege Survivors» Marat Kutanov, vice-president of the NGO «Russian Cultural Center “Harmony”» Semyon Polyakov, head of the search movement «Bizdin Zhenish – Our Victory» Svetlana Lapteva director of NGO «Memory of the People» Ekaterina Dyatlova, entrepreneur Alexander Stepanyuk.
«The university is always open to those who sincerely strive for our university to develop dynamically, – German Lotsev said, summing up the meeting, – in the person of organizations of Russian compatriots of Kyrgyzstan, we see our friends. I am sure that this circle will expand. For this purpose, the university will continue meetings with representatives of the public, entrepreneurs, and journalists».
