Lectures on the preservation of historical memory were held at KRSU

November 1 within the framework of the International Discussion Platform «Great Patriotic War: Victory. Memory. Search» In the main building of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, lectures by teachers of Russian universities, experts, and representatives of the Russian Society «Knowledge» were held for students of the Faculty of International Relations.

Acting Rector of KRSU Denis Fomin-Nilov spoke about the extermination policy of Nazi Germany in the occupied territories of the USSR. Associate Professor of KRSU Pavel Dyatlenko made a report on legislative and research problems of preserving the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War in Kyrgyzstan. Head of the Development Department of the Ural Federal District of the Russian Society «Knowledge» Ivan Popp he devoted his speech to a project approach to preserving historical memory.

Other lecturers examined current pedagogical and educational practices aimed at countering the falsification of history using the example of the Great Patriotic War.
