A meeting of the Academic Council was held at KRSU
At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin held a regular meeting of the Academic Council. The event took place in the Great Assembly Hall with the participation of university management, teachers and staff.
The main topic of the meeting was the results of the financial and economic activities of the university for 2024 and tasks for 2025. Speakers presented key performance indicators and responded to questions from board members, focusing on the university's development strategies.
Head Department of International Journalism, V.V. Pankov, made a report on the formation of personnel and issues of academic and professional growth of department employees. Attention was paid to supporting scientific activities and improving the qualifications of teachers.
The acting rector of KRSU, Sergei Volkov, presented certificates to candidates of science and associate professors, noting the importance of their contribution to the development of the university. A letter of gratitude on behalf of the university was presented to the director of the Russian Language Institute, Mamed Tagaev, for his achievements and contribution to the development of the educational program.
At a meeting of the Academic Council, Sergei Volkov noted the achievements of students who honorably represent the university in creative and scientific competitions. Thus, the association of creative activists S.O.T.A. won first place in the city competition «Dancing Capital», proving that KRSU students are not only talented, but can also achieve heights at prestigious cultural venues. The Imperium hospital surgery team took 12th place out of 28 at the International Olympiad in Surgery named after Academician M.I. Pelman, demonstrating a high level of training and professionalism.
Acting of the Rector emphasized that such results strengthen the reputation of KRSU as a university where students successfully develop in different directions, from creativity to science.
The meeting of the Academic Council emphasized the importance of teamwork and strengthening human resources for the successful implementation of the tasks set for 2025.
