KRSU hosts a competitive selection of volunteers for the international program «Ambassadors of the Russian Language to the World»
On December 22, 2021, the first foreign selection of volunteers of the international program «Ambassadors of the Russian Language in the World» started at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B. Yeltsin. The program is organized by the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin (g. Moscow) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
The goal of the program is – to popularize the Russian language, culture and literature in Russia and abroad, as well as to develop and strengthen partnerships of an interuniversity and international nature, organize dialogue of cultures and intercultural exchange.
The first master classes on the technology of conducting interactive linguistic and musical classes and lessons on Russian fairy tales and crafts were held at the Faculty of Humanities KRSU. The classes were conducted by a program methodologist, candidate of pedagogical sciences, head of the department of internship for foreign specialists at the State Institute of Russian Language named after. A.S. Pushkin Varvara Filippova, program volunteers Nina Nikolaeva and Zakhar Stepanov.
On December 23, the selection participants passed the first competitive test – protection of lesson fragments. Based on the results of the selection tests, which will continue on Friday, KRSU students will have a chance to become participants in the «Russian Language Ambassadors to the World» program and go on international expeditions.
Within the framework of the program, over the 6 years of its existence, 270 ambassadors were selected from more than 5,500 candidates. Since 2015, educational expeditions of Russian language ambassadors have taken place in Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, in non-CIS countries (Europe, Latin America), and regions of Russia.
