Russian Song Week «With Russia in the Heart» has started in Kyrgyzstan

On December 9, in the large assembly hall of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, as part of the week of Russian song «With Russia in the Heart», a concert of the ensemble «Souvenir» took place.

The organizers of the cultural event were the Russian House in Bishkek, the Department of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Work of the city of Bishkek, KRSU.

Spectators saw a program that included vocal and choreographic numbers based on Russian and Cossack folklore, theatrical skits developed by the permanent leader of the ensemble, Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Vladimir Tulin and the choreographer of the ensemble, Excellent Student of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic Lyudmila Chuntonova.

Russian Song Ensemble «Souvenir» – is a group of experimenting creators who approach a folk song from the perspective of expression «Beauty – this is when there is nothing left to add». Talented performers successfully popularize Russian musical culture and promote cultural cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
