Leading oncologist of Russia Kirill Shostka conducted a master class and gave lectures for doctors of the Kyrgyz Republic

May 12 at the initiative of KRSU named after. B. Yeltsin and the Clinic of High Medical Technologies named after. N. Pirogov St. Petersburg State University, with the participation of the clinic «Avicenna», Laboratory «Express Plus», Center for Medical Equipment and Training of Laboratory Diagnostics Specialists «Kokomeren», National Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Oncology Center, a scientific and practical conference was opened «Topical issues of diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the gastrointestinal tract» the central figure of which is the leading oncologist in Russia Kirill Shostka.

Our guest’s work program started on May 11 and over the past day and a half he performed three complex operations for intestinal and liver tumors as a master class.

And on May 12, his lectures took place on the topics: «Surgical treatment of locally advanced esophageal cancer» and «Evisceration – what we do in the pelvis».
