The great legacy of Cyril and Methodius
Teachers and students of the Faculty of Humanities KRSU took part in a video conference «The Great Heritage of Cyril and Methodius», organized by the «Eurasians – New Wave» Foundation as part of the Cross Year of Cultures of Russia and Kyrgyzstan events.
The following addressed the conference participants with greetings: President of the Foundation «Eurasians – new wave» Yu. F. Anufriev, Head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek V. L. Nefedov, Director of the Foundation Branch «Eurasians – new wave» in the Kyrgyz Republic V. M. Liu.
The conference took place on the ZOOM Internet platform. A discussion took place on the formation of the Slavic alphabet, they talked about the role of Cyril and Methodius in the creation and promotion of the Slavic alphabet, the role of the Cyrillic alphabet in intercultural relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, the importance of the Russian language in the development of education and science in Kyrgyzstan, etc.
Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the Faculty of Humanities KRSU G. D. Danilchenko spoke about the most important historical stages in the formation of the Slavic alphabet. Interesting presentations were made by students of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, prepared by Professor G. D. Danilchenko and Associate Professor R. Sh. Zainulin. These are 1st year students D. Kucher, B. Koichuev and E. Khudaibergenova, 2nd year students Ya. Nasimov and A. Nagaev.
The discussion of the problems of Slavic writing and culture successfully coincided with the Muslim holiday of Uraza Bayram, which was a symbol of intercultural harmony between the Muslim and Slavic worlds.
