Meeting of the Russian Ambassador with the Rector of the St. Petersburg State Economic University

Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sergei Vakunov held a meeting with the rector of the St. Petersburg State Economic University (SPbSEU) Igor Maksimtsev. During the meeting, key issues of developing cooperation with scientific and educational organizations of Kyrgyzstan, interaction with graduates of Russian universities, as well as promising projects to assist in the modernization of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University (KRSU) were discussed.

Previously, a cooperation agreement was signed between KRSU and St. Petersburg State Economic University aimed at strengthening scientific and educational ties, exchanging experience and jointly implementing educational programs.

Sergei Vakunov noted the importance of interaction between Russian and Kyrgyz universities for improving the quality of education and training of highly qualified specialists. Maksimtsev expressed his readiness to develop cooperation and support initiatives to modernize KRSU.

This meeting confirms the strategic importance of strengthening educational and scientific ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and also emphasizes the desire to develop a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership.
