Meetings between students and a psychologist

The university hosted working meetings between KRSU psychologist Elena Magai and the curators of the first year of the humanities and law faculties.The topic of discussion was «The role of the curator at the university. Prevention of student maladjustment». During the meeting, participants reviewed role expectations from the curator, identified areas of responsibility and boundaries of professional opportunities, and discussed tools for monitoring and diagnosing possible signals of trouble in student groups.Particular attention was paid to the issues of early identification of adaptation difficulties, support for freshmen during the period of entering the university environment and the formation of a favorable psychological climate.
