KRSU graduate Yesenzhan Abubakirov took a prize at a prestigious competition

A graduate of the Faculty of International Relations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, Yesenzhan Abubakirov entered the top three translators of fiction as part of the international Open Eurasia competition.

In 2023, the competition was held in the Super Cup format for the first time in history – winners and finalists from previous years competed for prizes.

Yesenzhan presented a translation into English of the fairy tale by the Kyrgyz writer Asel Ayapova «Silver Bracelet».

The competition, uniting creative people from all over the world, acts as a kind of bridge between art and its connoisseurs, and the festival, which was held this year in Burabay (Kazakhstan), became the largest platform organized by the Eurasian Creative Guild, which united writers, poets, translators, musicians and illustrators.
