Speech by acting Rector KRSU: main directions of university development
As part of the strategic session for the development of KRSU until 2030, Rector Sergei Volkov identified the key growth points of the university and priority areas of work. His speech became an important guideline for the participants, setting the vector for collaboration.
Sergey Volkov emphasized that KRSU has great potential to strengthen its position as a leading university in Kyrgyzstan. Among the key growth points, he highlighted:
• Improving the quality of educational programs. Development of modern training courses that meet international standards, and active introduction of digital technologies into the educational process.
• Development of scientific activities. Increasing the number of research projects and grants, as well as creating conditions for attracting students and teachers to scientific research.
• Improving the material and technical base. Particular attention will be paid to modernizing the campus, creating new laboratories and teaching facilities, as well as designing infrastructure for comfortable learning and work.
The rector outlined the priorities that will determine the future path of KRSU:
1. Integration with international partners. Expanding cooperation with Russian and foreign universities, which will allow the university to adopt best practices and participate in major international projects.
2. Student support. Strengthening the provision of grants and scholarships, improving living conditions, as well as creating new opportunities for internships and internships.
3. Training of highly qualified personnel. Formation of educational programs that meet the needs of the modern labor market and expansion of interaction with employers.
4. Development of innovative technologies. The university will actively implement digital solutions in management, learning and research.
The speech of acting by the rector became an important basis for further discussions and joint work of experts. Each session participant received a clear understanding of the priorities, which will allow them to form a holistic and realistic development strategy for KRSU for the coming years.
