KRSU lawyers came second in the intercollegiate debate on suffrage
On 10 November, the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Representative Office of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), with the support of USAID, held a youth debate on the topic: «Improving electoral law».
The event was attended by students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz National University. Zh. Balasagyn, Kyrgyz Law University and KNU Law College.
Participants were asked to identify the problem and develop solutions to it. Representatives of the Central Election Commission acted as members of the jury.
According to the results of the debate, the team of the Faculty of Law KRSU (Beknazar Mambetkaliev, Makhabat Samarbekova, Ruslan Ataev, Nurbol Samaganov and Usenbek uulu Emira) took second place.
