A brief history

The Faculty of International Relations of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was created in 1994. The educational activities of the Faculty of International Relations are aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of international relations and foreign policy activities of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Faculty of International Relations also trains specialists in the field of international journalism and translators and linguists of the Chinese language.

Teaching staff

A high level of training is provided by the teaching staff, as well as leading specialists in the field of international relations, employees of international organizations in the Kyrgyz Republic, professors from foreign universities.

International cooperation

The faculty has fruitful contacts with universities such as: 

  • Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University);
  • Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation;
  • Higher School of Economics, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia;
  • Jiaxing-Nanyang Polytechnic (China);
  • Beijing China Petroleum University (China);
  • Liming Vocational University (China);
  • East Liaoning University (China);
  • Hanbat National University (South Korea);
  • Al-Zahra University (Iran), Allameh Tabatabaei University (Iran).

The university also cooperates with the following international organizations:

  • Beijing Ruipan International Education Science and Technology Company (China);
  • Confucius Institute at BSU in the Kyrgyz Republic, Confucius Institute at KNU in the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Goethe Education Center in Kyrgyzstan;
  • Cultural representation at the Iranian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic;
  • Kyrgyz-Japanese Centre for Human Development; 
  • Education Center of the Republic of Korea in Kyrgyzstan
